Jooby optical and pulse LoRaWAN modules for water meters

Jooby radio modules are designed to remotely receive data from Novator, Powogaz, Baylan, Hydrotek, KV 1.5 Lutsk, etc. meters and transmit it to the metering system via a LoRaWAN® wireless network.

Using Jooby modules

Residential construction has always tried to use the cheapest water meters for metering consumption. For many years, state-owned utilities were not interested in obtaining accurate consumption data. But, with the growth of new residential construction and the emergence of new forms of management of residential complexes, such as condominiums or housing management companies, the need for remote timely accounting of water consumption has increased dramatically. And given that simple cheap water meters are still in use, we offer Jooby radio modules with LoRaWAN technology for remote accounting and data transmission. Thus, without having access to the owners’ homes, it is easy to obtain data and automate the process of collecting readings and automatically receive accurate water consumption data.

The radio modules are designed to automatically take readings from Novator, Powogaz, Baylan, Hydrotek, KV 1.5 Lutsk water meters and transmit them to the metering system via a LoRaWAN® wireless network. In the event of an attempt to illegally dismantle the meter or affect it with a magnet, the module’s intelligent sensors recognize third-party interference with the device and immediately signal it, preventing unauthorized consumption.

Jooby radio modules for water meters make it easy to turn a basic meter into a smart meter – you just need to install a radio module for a water meter on the meter. It takes a few minutes to upgrade the meter. After installation, the radio module is activated via the Jooby RDC Dasboard app and the device is ready to use.
